IEEE Data & Storage Symposium 2022

Organizations are facing unprecedented challenges storing and managing data. Not only must they handle greater amounts of data, but they must also work with different types of data, much of it unstructured. At the same time, modern workloads (Such as AI, HPC, IoT) have become more complex and pose high demand for reduced access latency and better space efficiency. Some of the major technological driving factors like reduced cost of media, ever increasing cores on a processer die have raised the bar for innovation on traditional storage systems. The evolution of heterogeneous computing have added greater power to the way the data can be processed today. SmartNIC, DPU, computational drives, FPGA are the new Game changers for the storage servers. These are exciting times and to listen more on what’s next for storage, IEEE Bangalore section brings together its 4th Edition of DSS on 09th June 2022. DSS had been an Industry flagship event connecting technology leaders across various segments of the data management and storage world. Like previous editions, DSS will bring together technology leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs & thought provokers who are passionate about addressing impactful problems by turning ideas into solutions. Industry stalwarts and technology practitioners, together will share their vision on the challenges the storage Industry is facing today and the researches, Ideas to address them. As the pandemic is majorly over but yet the risks of it re-occurrence remains. Keeping this in mind, this edition of DSS is organized virtually. Though we would miss you for an in-person interaction, but we are excited that it can bring participants from academia and Industry across the world.
